Today at Enrich

Today at Enrich we played a game of chess in the morning then we had some passion time I worked on   alice 2.2.   You get to create your own world, you can put a lot of things in the world. Here are three themes; medieval, spooky, and controls. Here is a picture when you go on to it.

Today at Enrich we started the day with a game of chess. I played two games, I won a game and lost one. After we watched a video about air pollution. The least polluted city is Wellington and the most polluted city is Ahvas. I wondered how do animals survive there?

Today at Enrich

Today at Enrich we watched a clip about water pollution.  It was very sad because marine life is dying.  A lot of animals are dying because people are making the water dirty by pouring waste  into it and littering it with rubbish.  Some species of turtles and tortoises are at risk of becoming extinct.  One of them had two shells because they got some plastic stuck around them.  This caused their shell to grow in a strange way.  Here is a picture :(

I was really impressed with your decision to make a 'strong choice' when maths was frustrating you today.  You have really grown in your self management during this year!  The goal you discussed in relation to your environment project was very appropriate.  You are very self aware about what you need to work on in relation to group tasks.

Chess

At the start of the day we played chess.  I faced Katie M and Katura. I lost against Katie, and then I challenged Katura and won! I went up three spaces on the leaderboard. After lunch I played against Nathan who is on the top of the leader board.  I lost hardout. Today was the last day to get in the teams for the chess tournament.  I was gutted because I did not get in the top 6 who were going to be on the chess teams.
