Stone carving prep

Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today I starterd my sketch for me to make for my stone carving.   This is my passion project. I am going  to make a beaver chewing on a piece of wood! At first I was going to do a weasel but then I chose a beaver for my passion project. We got a long time to work on it this morning. When I finished my sketch, I told Katie it was morning tea because she had forgotten!  The sketch was quite tricky because you have to sketch it out in 3-D (3 directions!)  I am looking forward to getting out in the stone carving shed and getting started ._.

The trip to Queens Park

Bonjour and welcome to my blog. Have you ever dropped a camera at Queens Park.  I know I haven't. Today at Enrich we went on a trip to Queens Park. We went in two different groups. The groups were Katie and Jenni with Josh's Dad and Nicola Daniel's Mum. I was in Nicola's group. We had to pick a partner to work with before we left Enrich. In my group, I was partnered with Daniel. We had to look out for patterns in our local environment. The 4 types of patterns we had to find  beauty, order, strength and survivability. We found a lot of patterns! We went to the bird avery.  We found a lot of patterns there. The bird I liked best was the cockatoo.

Dance moves

Hi, I'm back for another blog post today. I learnt how to dance, Nicola told me to put on some glasses and called them the Elvis glasses.  I wore then a lot today,  I was scared at the start to dance because we were playing musical bumps. You dance then, when the music stops you fall on the ground as fast as you can.  I got out because I wasn't dancing.  Then when our group was at music we put on music and then people started dancing.  So I made up 3 moves,  they are called the Max 1,  the Max 2, the Max 3, then I asked if they would teach me how to dance so they showed me some moves.

the first post of the year

Bonjouri,  I'm back after a fast year. At lunch time my friend Josh asked me if i wanted to smash some boxes and  polysterene We went out side and smashed some boxes We even climbed inside the boxes because they were big and we pretended josh was the lion the witch and the wardrobe of Nania!

We had a lot of fun then we threw them on the ground. It was very loud! Afterwards we sat on it and iI even jumped on it a little We karate chopped it then we went inside. Ta ta .....

Waihopai river planting with Bruce

Today at Enrich we went to Waihopai river to plant some plants. We went on a bus. When we got there we had to walk to where we were planting. We had to go in groups of two. My partner was Agustin. We went in a big circle and the Anastazia showed us what to do.  Darryn brought his dog along. His name is Bruce and he is relly cute, but he kept running away! Today at Enrich

Today at Enrich we played a Wilson game again. It is called All or Nothing. It is a reslly fun game. We did not win - our team got second. After that, it was passion time. I starterd a new activity. I started a stone carving. I am carving a love heart. I think it is very good so far. We had a lot of time to do the carving. Before I starterd to carve I had to draw it but both of the sides have to be perfect.

Today at Enrich

Today at Enrich we played a game called All or Nothing. There were 3 teams. I was in team 3 team 1 won. Later we are doing a technology challenge. Last technology challenge I did not win. We came 4th out of all of the groups. The team that wins today gets a bit of chocolate.
